This personal project was an idea that originated with two other developers during the 2019 summer; unfortunately, we didn't have time to finish the project, and it was left behind. Even so, I think we did a great job with the scenario design and the concept.

Would you be able to?

We intended to create a short FPS puzzle-horror game in which the player should try to escape a labyrinth while racing against the clock.  For this, I designed a simple character that wears a mask and does not provide much information to the player. Focusing on embodiment and not empathy in the player - character identity bubble.

The main objective of the player would be to open a door in the labyrinth using a code. This code was given to the player through a message using the lights in different rooms in the scene. Making the knowledge needed to surpass the level real for the character and player at the same time; if the player doesn't know Morse code, there are a few clues around; just try to find them before the time ends! The key element of this game was to lead the player to these different clues and the message itself without making it obvious or breaking the immersion, at the same time it was the main challenge for me when designing it.
